Hi There,
You're probably wondering what on earth is going on, well let me tell you a little story - since our inception in 2020 when we were simply a web hosting provider our customers always assumed our name Clodux was pronounced "cloudx". So after careful consideration and a ton of planning we decided at the end of 2023 that we would simply align our name with how our customers thought it was said - and it's just better.
So what's next?
Over the coming months you will notice a lot of new changes,
Website
Our new website will release in the next 7 - 14 days and will be active at our new domain https://cloudx.nz as well as our previous domain https://clodux.com
Contact Details
Our email contact details will be changing, our new support email will be support@cloudx.nz, the billing email will change to billing@cloudx.nz. In the mean time any communication sent via our current channels will be diverted to the new contact emails.
Our phone 0800 854 562 will remain the same with a new call flow for easier account management and AI powered triage for better customer handling and CSAT (customer satisfaction), this will phase into use over the next 4 weeks with testing on a small number of customers for a start, this system is being implemented as we transition into a digital-first approach to reduce customer wait times.
Invoicing & Billing
A lot of changes are happening with our billing methods, firstly those that receive monthly invoices from us - your invoice will now be sent from "billing@cloudx.nz" with the new branding.
Direct Debit / Card Payments
For those who pay via Direct Debit or Automatic Card payments you will notice on your bank statements the transaction name will now either be
"CLOUDX" or "GoCardless", please note GoCardless is our new direct debit provider and manages Direct Debits for all of our customers. Some customers will notice that we've sent them a link to re-authorise their Direct Debit Authority with this new provider. - please see the attached as an example of what will be shown on your bank statement.
